The Mainly 28s... review section

This section links to all the various wargame-related reviews I've done. In many cases the items were sent for review by the company, although in an equal number of instances I have purchased or bartered for the items to bolster my own collection. Obviously, therefore, the main focus of this site reflects my current interests. I will be more than happy to accept items sent for review, and will continue to give reasonably unbiased, fair reviews.
Note that I revise the reviews periodically (especially after I have assembled and/or painted the item in question, so my original reviews may occasionally change- especially if the various stages bring out or hide detail...

I should also point out that, as I do everything myself (from the web-design to the reviews, painting and photography), it may occasionally take a while for me to get back to a specific review.

The system I have used to describe the figures everywhere on this site (besides the actual scan), is the "Barrett Measuring System" or "Barrett Scale", which was the brainchild of Dick Bryant, editor of the Courier.
