Mixes best with: | As I have not really had the opportunity to examine many ECW figures, I can't comment on this yet. I can; however, say that they do look quite OK next to Redoubt figures... |
Long Review: | Renegade is making some inroads into the ECW market, which has been a long-standing period of interest, especially in the UK. The figures are also suitable for use in Thirty Years' War armies. The single figure of this range I have is a standing musketeer, getting ready to raise the matchlock to firing position. The attention to detail is quite astonishing- apart from the match on the matchlock, there are also apostles on the bandolier, and several bits of lace and ribbon on various items of clothing. I have a few more squirreled away somewhere, so I will be digging them out in the near future. The figures are of the usual Renegade standard- minimal flash and mould-lines, neatly animated and with very expressive faces. |
Commentary: | While I have a few figures- it isn't really a major period of interest for me, so further investigations will happen at a slow pace. |
