East Riding Miniatures

|Long Review:||General: the figures are very nicely sculpted, and show very little flash. The figures are reasonably diverse- there are three different uniforms represented.
I'm quite happy with these figures- ideal for any WW2 game requiring zombies. The decomposing troops are nicely done, with well-sculpted decaying flesh and skeletal features.
The two pointing zombies are Russian (as far as I can tell, by the cut of the uniforms), while two are German- a good, efficient use of "late" troops. The fifth is wearing an overall (maybe a tanker or mechanic). My only complaint would be that the legs on some of them are maybe a touch too long for the torsos.
All five have suitably stilted poses, and the overall effect looks very appropriate.
The Nazi controller is a long greatcoat, unbuttoned to show the uniform beneath. His left hand is held behind his back, and he has a pistol in his right hand. His arms appear a little short, but not disproportionately so. Again, he has very little flash but there is a little pitting in the small of his back.
The British officer is probably my favourite of the bunch- Webley revolver in his raised right hand, stake in the left. He's wearing battledress, with the tunic tucked in and bareheaded. The shape of the battledress is quite well captured, and he has the typical haircut of the period. The only problem with him is a little pitting in the groin area, but this will disappear under paint.
|Commentary:||Very nice figures, especially the pointing Russians. The British officer is probably the best of the bunch.|
