| Long Review: | This model of the SdKfz 251 Ausf D is cast in three resin parts (the hull, the top side plates and the seats). There are also six metal parts- two track units, two front wheels and the two MGs. The tracks and wheels on this model have an extremely positive fit as the lugs on the track units and wheels lock into the slots on the hull. There was a minimal amount of excess material (the underside of the body is the moulding plug), and also a small number of bubbles in the resin, which are easily filled. The model captures the look of the SdKfz 251 Ausf D well, although I do find the top rear angle a little suspect. This is definitely a gamers' standard vehicle. |
