| Long Review: | I purchased three of these via an alternative trader, as my German troops required transport urgently. The most logical choice was the Opel Blitz, which only eBob produced at the time. The kit consists of the chassis, a 6-part cab, a 6-part loadbed, seperate axles, springs and wheels. The joints all fall on natural panel lines, so there is no problem with having to sand seams in unusual places. It is slightly more fiddly than the resin kits, but makes a much more detailed model at the end of the day. I will say that, while it is fairly easy to assemble (except for the rather complicated load-bed to chassis bit), it is somewhat more complex than the standard kits associated with wargaming. It is also a fairly heavy kit once assembled... I did enjoy the assembly on mine, and have two more lined up for conversion work. |
| Commentary: | A great kit of one of the main vehicles of the Wehrmacht, as well as many civilian companies both before and after the war. |
