| Long Review: | This is the first pure AGNM vehicle I've reviewed (all the others are "ex-something-or-other" kits). I'm glad to see that the quality of this kit is comparable to all the other kits I've reviewed so far- really good, as well as solid resin casting with no visible bubbles anywhere. This is a mid-war Sherman, and visually it compares very favourably to the pictures of Shermans I've seen. It is the most widely-used US version, and was also used by the French from 1944 onwards. The visual detail is really good, and the fact that this kit comes as a based and an un-based version makes it doubly welcome. The review version I have is based (mainly because I prefer my vehicles based), which means that the vehicle stands the right height above my based figures. |
| Commentary: | I, for one, hope that Vince will bring out a few more variants, particularly the diesel-engined variants. |
