|Mixes best with:||Still working on that, although from recollection Foundry is pretty close, as are some of the Old Glory Ranges.|
|Long Review:||The sole 1st Corps Ancient figure I have is a "leftover" in my spares-box. These figures are cheap and cheerful, decently animated and full of variety. They are pretty varied, and a decent number of variations within each pack mean that the units don't get boring.
The units of Romans I painted were pretty decent figures, and, although the metal was a lot harder than many of the other suppliers' I've worked with, the end result matches up well with all the rest.
|Historical Accuracy:||Not bad, maybe a little mixed interms of strict accuracy, but the overall look is OK.|
|Pose Quality:||A fairly mixed batch of similar poses in a specific pack, all basically the same, with minor variations in head gear or slight variations in arm positions.|
|Sculpting:||Average. There is a mix of neat and soft sculpting- almost as if the masters had been exposed to high heat.|
|Casting:||Not bad. The metal is a lot harder than many others I've worked with, so it takes a fair amount of effort to clean the sometimes abundant mould lines and occasional sprues.|
|Sources:||Single figure left over from previous project.|
