Long Review: | Where to start? The kit is huge. There is a large number of parts and a truly incredible crew to go with it. I have not yet made a part-count, but this is definitely the most parts in a BAM kit yet. The main part of the gun consists of the three-part base, the three-part gun and cradle plus the shield. Then there are the wheel-units with their cable reels, and all the many bits (handwheels, seats and all the other little details), as well as the crew-pack. Flash is minimal, as is usual on BAM white metal, and the dry-fit of the parts is very positive. The crew is, as is Paul's standard, brilliant. They represent a crew firing at a ground-target, and consist of two guys seated on the gun, three loaders, the range-finder and the commander. |
Commentary: | A really useful addition to any collection. After all, we've all heard the comment "it's an 88, my tanks haven't got a chance"... |
