Long Review: | The samples I received for this review are a random sampling in two packs- one pack of French, one of North Africans. The figures are cleanly cast, with very little flash and sprues, and the mould lines are also minimal. These figures have loads of character. Tony has captured the look and feel of the old FFL movies quite well (I was watching March or Die again as I examined these figures, and I must admit that they really look the part. The French are dressed in campaign clothing, not parade equiment, which is excellent. The North Africans are dressed in robes and have a real mish-mash of fire-arms, as would be expected. |
Commentary: | The figures are very nice indeed- much nicer than the website would indicate. Tony Aldrich's style has improved incredibly since I reviewed his sculpts for another company. |
