| Long Review: | Armies of Chivalry is an AoA-style supplement, intended more as a way to get more "legal" armies out into the public quickly. The design and layout is pretty much the same as AoA, and the first few pages contain a number of additional rules to allow players to more accurately (?) recreate battles in the early medieval period. The lists include The Hundred Years War, The Wars of the Roses, The Burgundian Wars, The Ottoman expansion, The Northern Crusades and The Wars in Eastern Europe.
Period: Ancients up to about 1485AD. Scale: 28mm, but can be used for 15mm with modifications. Basing: Single figures. Contents: Perfect-bound A4 book. |
